How We Started
GRIF Community Link is a non-profit ministry of Grand Rapids International Fellowship, that was formed in 2006 to help people in our multicultural community achieve self-sufficiency.
In partnership with established organizations, we provide facilities as well as educational and relational support to the economically disadvantaged in our community.
Nearly two decades of welcoming refugees from around the world, offering English classes and friendship has not only made a difference in our community but the lives of our GRIF Community Link volunteers.
In addition to supporting refugees, we mentor elementary aged children and seek ways to encourage single moms.
It is our desire to be open to God’s promptings as we live out what Jesus shared to be the greatest commandments – To love the Lord our God with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our mind, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Matthew 22:36-39
